Part fairy tale, part slapstick comedy, and part musical, The Best Medicine is a whimsical theatrical adventure guaranteed to delight children of all ages. The town of Townsington has lost its sparkle. It has lost its shine. Their only hope is a scheming Doctor and his trusty assistant. Will the doctor truly be able to prescribe the best medicine and save the town from their dull days? Taking inspiration from the greatest physical comedians of all time, writer and director Sarah Scanlon (Moscow Art Theatre/Dell’Arte School of Physical Theatre Grad) works with the ensemble to create a world where joy is found in the simplest of places in a time where all hope has been lost.
“Marty Scanlon brings down the house as the embittered Old Man Townser.”

“The ensemble comes together as a whole to create an enjoyable experience for the audience.” -Gerron Jordan, Skokie Review
