Our culture believes there is nothing to fear from the supernatural. We are told that ghosts and demons aren’t real, but can we be sure? Across all cultures, the unnatural roams the earth and dark magic tempts the good. They have many names but we fear them just the same. Brought to Life adapts the most frightening stories from across the globe and conjures the fear held deep within each of us. Take caution: when you meddle with the otherworldly, the consequences can be fatal.
Brought to Life is a theatrical experience that melds ritualistic storytelling and interactive performance, where the audience is involved in the process. Each night, our guests become part of the group and will have a hand in the telling of our stories. By letting go of those that have passed on, learning to respect the sacred, and understanding our place within our own destinies, our ritual group will begin to draw closer and closer to calling forth a dark spirit. And as we bring that spirit into our existence, the audience and the performers must remember what we have learned through these stories: we must respect what we do not understand, and that the supernatural is not always as far from us as we may like to believe.
