Mission Statement

ensemble113 is a not-for-profit company of young artists committed to bringing ensemble generated work to Chicago’s North Shore. By exploring the unique opportunities afforded by live theatre, ensemble113 hopes to make performance a necessary and accessible part of the community

History

Founded by Artistic Director Clayton Fox in Spring 2008, ensemble113 is started as a group of alumni from Niles North Theatre (2007 Recipient of Kennedy Center Award for Arts Education), who came together out of a desire to work again once more, and has grown to include other local artists. The ensemble has studied theatre at top universities including: DePaul University, New York University, Northwestern University, University of Illinois, and University of Michigan. Ensemble members have also worked with prominent Chicago theatres such as Northlight, Steppenwolf, and Chicago Shakespeare.
